Magnetometry survey using using Bartington Grad601-2 and Sensys FMG650/3 dual magnetic gradiometer systems with a data logger. Several anomalies of a likely archaeological origin were identified by the survey, most notably in Field 3, where several circular, sub-circular and curvilinear features are noted that may be indicative of Iron Age or Romano-British small-scale settlement and agricultural activity. A small number of linear anomalies that may represent earlier, previously unrecorded ditch-boundary features were located across the Site, and there was evidence of historical agriculture practices, including ridge and furrow. Additionally, the pattern of land division identified on Ordnance Survey maps from the 19th century has been revealed.
