This work presents an Ayurvedic perspective on liver health in the context of modern urban lifestyles. It explores the concept of Yakrit as the seat of Ranjaka Pitta and its role in metabolism, detoxification, and blood formation. The paper discusses how stress, fast food, pollution, alcohol, and sedentary habits weaken Agni, leading to Ama accumulation and lifestyle-related liver disorders such as fatty liver, hepatitis, and metabolic syndromes. Drawing from classical Ayurvedic texts and contemporary clinical understanding, the study outlines preventive and therapeutic approaches including Dinacharya, Ritucharya, dietary regulation, yogic practices, and classical formulations. The work advocates an integrative, holistic model for sustainable liver health in modern healthcare settings.
