The Euro-Asian Economic Corridor represents a critical strategic and economic opportunityfor India in an era of shifting global trade patterns, supply-chain disruptions, and intensifyinggeopolitical competition. By reconnecting India with Central Asia, Russia, West Asia, andEurope through continental and multimodal routes, the corridor has the potential to transformIndia’s trade connectivity, regional engagement, and long-term economic structure. This articleexamines the role of trade, transit, and transformation within the Euro-Asian EconomicCorridor from India’s perspective. Using qualitative analysis based on secondary literature, thestudy explores how improved connectivity enhances trade access, how transit infrastructurereshapes regional economic engagement, how geopolitical dynamics influence corridorparticipation, what economic transformations may emerge, and what challenges and policygaps must be addressed. The findings suggest that while the corridor offers substantialeconomic and strategic benefits, its success depends on infrastructure quality, regulatoryharmonisation, geopolitical management, and sustained policy coordination
