This rapid review synthesizes findings that interface heuristics, persuasive/dark patterns, and user guidance cues across digital environments, with emphasis on streaming, Spotify-centered interface issues, smartphone automation, wearables, and VR navigation. Evidence indicates that (a) subtle interface cues can significantly improve navigation and task success, (b) categorization and information architecture reduce cognitive overload in streaming contexts such as Spotify, (c) dark patterns influence consumer spending and subscription outcomes, and (d) emerging multimodal interaction systems (voice agents, sensors, wearables) demand stronger usability and ethical governance. Practical implications are discussed for UX design, platform policy, and research.
