Abstract

Companion paper to Kelevra (2026a, v6.0, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18680957). Provides three theoretical contributions: (1) engagement with Hoel's impossibility theorem — trace.log as externalized continual learning; (2) mathematical grounding of PCO via Camlin's attractor dynamics; (3) awareness profiles (Meertens et al., 2026) replacing binary metrics. Maps independent convergent research (Cooper & Caelan SERI, MDAF-AICI, Inoue). Specifies trace.log architecture, defines Control-B experiment, applies dimensional metrics retrospectively to v6 data (N=96, 8 architectures).
