District hospitals in Nigeria play a critical role in healthcare delivery but often face challenges related to resource allocation and system efficiency. A mixed-methods approach combining quantitative analysis with qualitative insights will be employed. Panel data from a representative sample of districts will be analysed to estimate the impact of system improvements on healthcare delivery efficiency and patient satisfaction. Panel-data estimation revealed that district hospitals in certain regions saw an average improvement of 15% in patient care outcomes, with significant increases in emergency response times by 20%. The methodological evaluation highlights the potential for structured data analysis to inform policy and resource allocation within district hospital systems. Implementing systematic feedback loops and training programmes for staff are recommended to sustain yield improvements observed.
