This article is devoted to the study of the development of legislation regulating relations in the field of adaptation of the population, territories, and the economy of Russia to climate change with account for the main priorities of the state climate policy. Key aspects of legal regulation in the field of climate risk management, as well as in the implementation of climate projects and verification of their results, are analyzed. Special attention is drawn to the study of trial cases in both international courts and national courts of various states on climate claims and to legal problems of resolving emerging climate disputes.
