I read with great interest the article titled “Clinical and Epidemiological Characteristics of Interhospital Transfers to a Tertiary Care Center,” published in the recent issue of your journal (1). This study by Kahveci and Arı makes a significant contribution to the literature by revealing regional transfer processes and highlighting the clinical and organizational aspects of interhospital transfers. The purpose of this letter is to provide methodological clarification and constructive commentary that may assist in the interpretation of the study’s findings.
