Chronic pain is a prevalent health issue in Dakar, Senegal, affecting patients' quality of life and healthcare utilization. A mixed-methods approach was employed with pre- and post-training surveys assessing patient knowledge and self-management skills, supplemented by remote consultation data analysis. Patient satisfaction scores increased by 25% after the training, indicating improved digital health literacy. Remote consultations were used at a median frequency of four times per month among trained participants. Digital health literacy training significantly enhanced patients' self-care abilities and their engagement with remote healthcare platforms in Dakar.
