Abstract- PharmaTrack is an intelligent system designed to revolutionize medicine management by automating expiry detection andinventory monitoring using advanced computer vision and deep learning techniques. The system employs OpenCV for real-timeimage processing to capture medicine strips or boxes, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to extract expiry dates accurately.These dates are then automatically compared with the current date to identify expired medicines, minimizing the risk of consumingoutdated or unsafe medications. PharmaTrack reads barcodes and QR codes to efficiently identify medicines and log them into a centralized digital inventory. This integration ensures real-time tracking of stock levels, reducing human error and streamliningoperations for pharmacies, clinics, and households. Beyond detection, PharmaTrack provides proactive inventory management bysending timely reminders and notifications when stock levels fall below predefined thresholds or when medicines are expired. Alerts can be delivered via email or mobile app notifications, enabling users to take immediate action, reorder medicines on time, andprevent shortages. By combining OCR-based expiry detection, barcode/QR code with a based on integration, and automatednotifications,PharmaTrack significantly enhances pharmaceutical safety, reduces medicine wastage, and supports effective logisticsand management in healthcare environments.
