Ghana is experiencing a growing demand for off-grid energy solutions to meet household needs, particularly in rural areas where access to grid electricity is limited. The study employs a fixed effects regression model to analyse time-series data collected from 15 off-grid communities over three years, accounting for spatial and temporal variations. A significant proportion (32%) of the variation in system yield can be attributed to differences across communities rather than year-to-year changes, highlighting the importance of community-specific factors in performance. The fixed effects model provides robust estimates that control for unobserved heterogeneity and temporal trends, offering insights into yield variability among off-grid systems in Ghana. Policy makers should consider targeted interventions to address specific challenges faced by different communities, such as inadequate maintenance or unreliable fuel supply. off-grid energy, community systems, panel data analysis, fixed effects model, yield improvement The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
