The Sahel region of Kenya is experiencing significant climate variability, posing challenges to human security. A mixed-methods survey approach was employed, combining quantitative data from household surveys with qualitative insights through interviews. The analysis revealed a 25% increase in water scarcity across surveyed households, affecting food security and livelihood stability. Climate change exacerbates existing vulnerabilities, particularly among the most marginalized communities. Targeted climate-resilience programmes should focus on improving access to drought-resistant crops and water harvesting systems.
