The influence of catalytic systems containing on the kinetics of phenol oxidation in plasma-chemical processes was investigated. It was shown that the combined plasma-catalytic phenol oxidation is more efficient than oxidation in a dielectric barrier discharge. The effect of the catalyst deposition time on the substrate was evaluated. The change in the mineralization degree of phenol solutions under varying treatment conditions was analyzed. The results indicate that the higher efficiency of phenol degradation in the combined plasma-catalytic process is associated with the emergence of additional pathways for generating active species.
