Ugandan urban refugee camps face significant mental health challenges due to high levels of trauma from displacement and conflict. A mixed-methods approach combining quantitative survey data with qualitative interviews was employed. The sample included 500 respondents from four urban refugee camps. Findings indicate that only 32% of surveyed participants reported having received mental health services, highlighting a significant gap in service access. The study underscores the urgent need for enhanced mental health service provision to improve accessibility and utilization rates among refugees in Ugandan urban camps. Immediate steps should include expanding outreach efforts and enhancing collaboration between local authorities and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to address this critical public health issue. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
