Abstract

Wasserstoff-Brennstoffzellen, insbesondere Hochtemperatur-Protonenaustauschmembran-Brennstoffzellen (HT-PEMFCs), bieten eine vielversprechende kohlenstoffneutrale Lösung für Schwerlastfahrzeuge (HDVs). HT-PEMFCs arbeiten mit Wasserstoff niedrigerer Reinheit und benötigen aufgrund ihrer erhöhten Betriebstemperatur kleinere Wärmetauscher. Allerdings zeigen die aktuellen phosphorsäuredotierten PBI-Membranen im Laufe der Zeit Leistungsabfälle. Diese Studie bewertet neuartige Ion-Pair-Membranen (IPMs) und PBI-Referenzmembranen durch 100-stündige beschleunigte Stresstests bei 160 °C. In-situ-Techniken wie Polarisationskurven und EIS sowie ex-situ-Analysen mittels REM wurden eingesetzt.
