Community education programmes have been employed globally to reduce HIV transmission among young populations. This study examines such initiatives in Senegalese youth in Ghana. The research employed a mixed-methods approach involving qualitative interviews with programme implementers and quantitative data from participant surveys to evaluate the impact of these interventions. Findings indicate that while participants reported positive changes in knowledge about HIV/AIDS, adherence to preventive measures was inconsistent, highlighting the need for sustained support and education strategies. The study underscores the importance of continuous engagement and culturally tailored approaches in youth-focused HIV prevention programmes. Programmes should incorporate regular feedback mechanisms from participants and utilise technology-enhanced learning methods to improve long-term impact.
