The CHOICE Pilots Action Plans (PAP) are crucial elements of the CHOICE project, aimed at facilitating and evaluating pilot demonstrations worldwide to accelerate climate action. This deliverable introduces these plans in detail and lists the indicators to evaluate them, thereby monitoring and assessing both their implementation progress and their impact. The PAP is designed as an adaptable, centralised blueprint for regional pilot leaders to use when planning and implementing their climate action initiatives. It encompasses agile development processes, awareness campaigns, IAM models, immersive digital tools, data storytelling, and internal communication strategies. The primary objective of the PAP is to assess the effectiveness of CHOICE digital campaigns and tools for various key metrics relating to reliability, user acceptance, ease-of-use, transferability, and overall potential for impact on climate action. In addition, the PAP incorporates processes to evaluate its responsiveness and impact through external drivers such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The document maps out action plans for pilot demonstrations in Austria, Spain, Greece, Colombia and South Africa. Each regional plan includes context and background information, identification of key users and their roles, strategies for user recruitment and engagement, user training plans, and communication strategies. It also details the involvement of various partners, a comprehensive roadmap for pilot implementation, potential risks, and corresponding mitigation strategies. Success and impact metrics have been developed to evaluate the pilot actions, considering changes due to external events like COVID-19 and its impact on the food supply chain. Metrics include usability tests, stakeholder surveys, and policy impact evaluations. The Pilot Action Plans within the CHOICE program provide an orderly methodology to implement and assess climate action at various scales. Following this deliverable, each pilot will run digital campaigns and RCTs (through A/B Testing) to measure the real-world conversions achieved, feeding back results into the CHOICE IAM models. This iterative process aims at bridging the gap between top-down climate targets and grassroots behaviour change. https://www.climatechoice.eu/resources/
