This study evaluates the newly developed program, the Drive Smart Edu, to improve young novice drivers’ road safety awareness and behaviors in the Czech Republic. Based on the Goals for Driver Education (GDE) model, the program focused on psychological and reflective skills. Results show increased self-awareness, reduced acceptable speed excess, and greater recognition of distractions and emotional influences. While some attitudes showed limited change, the program effectively reduced risky behaviors. Long-term impacts require further investigation.
