E-Governance refers to the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) by the government to improve efficiency, transparency, and public service delivery. In India, E-Governance has transformed traditional manual systems into digital and citizen-centric services. This study analyzes the concept and role of E-Governance, its impact on public service delivery, and the major problems in its implementation. The study is based on secondary data collected from journals, reports, and official sources. The findings show that E-Governance has improved administrative efficiency and transparency but faces challenges such as digital illiteracy and infrastructure gaps. The study concludes that strengthening digital infrastructure, awareness, and cyber security is essential for effective E-Governance in India.
