Aims: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of supportive nursing care given to pregnant women in labor on maternity blues and birth satisfaction.Methods: The type of research was randomised controlled trial. A total of 47 women with healthy fetuses, 23 in the intervention group and 24 in the control group, were included in the study. Pregnant women in the control group received standard hospital care. Pregnant women in the intervention group received supportive nursing care including physical, emotional, informational and advocating elements during labor.
