Simple Chiral Phosphoric Acid Catalysis In their Research Article (10.1002/adsc.70236), Mukund P. Sibi and Norihiko Takeda report chiral Brønsted acid catalyzed α-aminoxylation reactions. The cover depicts reaction components passing through an “enantioselective gate,” leading to enantioenriched products. In contrast to catalysts with bulkier substituents, a simple octahydrobinaphthol-based phosphoric acid is optimal.
