An IoT data transmission network model has been developed on the basis of spacecraft in low circular orbits in the random multiple access mode with the packet acceptance confirmation. The model makes it possible to estimate the delay in delivery and the fraction of lost packets from IoT sensors taking into account the specifics of positioning sensors in the network’s service area, characteristics of the spacecraft’s orbital constellation, and parameters of on-board repeater and sensor antennas. The model has been built in the Matlab environment in the form of scenarios for preparing source data, simulating the network operation, and processing statistics. Numerical experiments have been carried out to estimate the fraction of lost packets.
