This poster presents ongoing research from the project Crizzling of Historical Glass, which investigates the effects of fluctuating relative humidity (RH) on historical glass. The study employs Acoustic Emission (AE) measurements to monitor damage processes in artificially aged replicas of historical glass during controlled RH cycling. The poster was presented by doctoral student Nefeli Avgerou (IKIFP) at the 25th annual conference Chemical Analysis in the Protection of Cultural Heritage Objects (AChwOZ'XXV), held in Warsaw on 1–2 December, 2025. It outlines the experimental approach and highlights recent observations on the relationship between RH variations and glass degradation.
