The possibility of expanding the application of DARIA compact neutron source installation based on a high-current linear proton accelerator to the field of radioisotope production for the needs of nuclear medicine is evaluated. The primary application area of this facility is a wide range of neutron research for fundamental and practical purposes. The calculation of the 18F isotope activities potentially generated at the accelerator of DARIA project was performed analytically and using software packages. The results of calculations and conclusions about the possibility of using the accelerator for medical radioisotopes production are presented.
