The Neonatal Anesthesia Society (NAS) conducted its 4 th National Conference, NASCON 2025, on 6–7 th September 2025 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Nagpur. The conference aimed to provide a focused platform addressing contemporary challenges in neonatal anesthesia, with the theme “Neuro-Spine surgical procedures in the Newborn and Neonates: Challenges for the Anesthesiologist.” The scientific program comprised plenary and thematic sessions, panel discussions, Pro–Con debates, the annual oration, free paper and poster presentations, and a quiz competition, facilitating comprehensive academic engagement. 100 participants attended the Conference, while 161 participants benefited from decentralized pre-conference workshops conducted at 5 centers across the country. These workshops emphasized neonatal airway management and perioperative neonatal resuscitation through simulation-based and hands-on training. Academic excellence was encouraged through multiple awards recognizing outstanding contributions in free paper presentations, poster sessions, debates, quizzes, and interactive formats. NASCON 2025 successfully fulfilled its objectives of advancing knowledge, fostering interaction, and promoting best practices in neonatal neurospine anesthesia. A special section was dedicated to ophthalmological procedures in the neonates.
