Malaria remains a significant public health concern in northern Ghana, particularly among pregnant women who are at higher risk of severe complications. A qualitative study involving semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with CHWs, healthcare providers, and pregnant women to explore their perspectives on CHW interventions. The findings reveal that CHWs play a crucial role in enhancing adherence to malaria treatment protocols by providing regular counseling sessions and home visits, resulting in an 18% increase in compliant patients compared to baseline rates. CHWs are pivotal in improving malaria treatment compliance among pregnant women, demonstrating their effectiveness as community health facilitators. Further research should focus on developing standardised training programmes for CHWs and integrating their role into existing healthcare systems. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
