Abstract: Geometric distortion in lung X-ray is a common issue, often caused by errors in the data acquisition system such as optical lenses, imaging sensors, and the imaging environment. Correcting geometric distortion is a major stage in medical imaging and remote sensing. It directly impacts the accuracy and performance of next stages of lung X-ray. In this study, the use of the Anisotropic Diffusion Filter (ADF) for noise removal, in combination with the Gabor Filter (GF) to reduce distortion, helps to effectively enhance lung images.
