Chemical Self-Assembly In mixtures of a CdTe magic-size cluster (MSC) sample and selenourea, CdTeSe MSCs are seen, together with CdSe MSCs sometimes. For the formation of these MSCs, the experimental results suggest that anion exchange does not occur, but monomer substitution assists the development of CdTeSe MSC-399 and MSC-422 from CdTe PC-371.
