ABSTRACT The proposed Si nanowire arrays (Si‐NWs) and poly(3,4‐ethylene dioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) hybrid solar cell combines the concepts of superior carrier generation, separation, collection, and efficient interface passivation by providing an actual radial p–n junction and conformal coverage of PEDOT:PSS. In addition, the incorporation of plasmonic silver nanoparticles into the interface of the Si‐NWs and polymer increases the short‐circuit current to 36.5 mA/cm 2 and power conversion efficiency to 11.92% without employing any interface engineering or antireflection coating. The fabricated device is promising for the development of a low‐cost, high‐efficiency Si‐NWs/PEDOT:PSS hybrid solar cell.
