Paramagnetic active sites boosted hydrogenation of p -nitroaniline over pr CeO 2 supported Pt catalysts
Key Points
To examine the effects of paramagnetic active sites on the hydrogenation process in supported Pt catalysts.
Created paramagnetic sites at the Pt–pr CeO2 interface
Optimized reduction temperature set at 400 °C
Analyzed hydrogen spillover related to unpaired electrons
Paramagnetic sites were successfully generated at the interface
Enhanced hydrogen spillover was observed due to unpaired electrons
Abstract
The paramagnetic active sites were created at the Pt– pr CeO 2 interface and generated at an optimal reduction temperature of 400 °C, and enhanced hydrogen spillover via their unpaired electrons.
