Urban Lagos suburbs in Nigeria have high maternal mortality rates, highlighting a critical health challenge requiring innovative solutions. A mixed methods study combining quantitative data from surveys with qualitative insights gathered through focus group discussions. Digital health platforms were used by 72% of women, leading to a significant reduction (30%) in emergency transport times for maternal emergencies compared to pre-intervention levels. Digital interventions significantly improved access and response times for maternal health services, with community acceptance high but varied across socio-economic groups. Continued digital health support should be tailored to address identified gaps, particularly among low-income communities where engagement was lower.
