This study aims to realize a training system that can measure the stress distribution inside the brain during neurosurgical training. This paper proposes a method to estimate 3D stress distribution by using permanent magnet elastomer (PME), which is a flexible magnetic material, and one of the deep learning methods, pix2pix. The demonstration clearly shows the validity of the proposed method, in which the stress distributions in multiple cross sections of the hemisphere-shaped PME are successfully estimated by using the change in magnetic flux due to the forced displacement applied to the PME.
