Nigeria is highly vulnerable to a variety of natural hazards that affect both farmers and non-farmers alike. This study examined the effects of natural disasters on agricultural practices among farmers in Kogi State. Four research questions were formulated based on the study’s objectives: (i) to identify the major types of natural disasters prevalent in the study area, (ii) to determine the causative agents of these disasters, (iii) to examine the impacts of natural disasters on agricultural practices, and (iv) to identify measures to mitigate the effects of natural disasters on farming activities
Samuel Ifeanyi Nwankwo (Sun,) studied this question.
