Objectives: This study aimed to assess oral health status and disease burden among chronic kidney disease patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. Methods: A hospital-based cross-sectional study was conducted among 96 hemodialysis patients using WHO Oral Health Assessment tools and structured questionnaires. Results: High prevalence of dental caries, periodontitis, xerostomia, and mastication difficulty was observed. More than 70% of participants exhibited periodontal disease, and nearly half reported poor oral health perception. Conclusions: Hemodialysis patients demonstrate substantial oral disease burden, highlighting the need for integrated dental care within nephrology services.
