Objectives: To review the principles, clinical applications, and interdisciplinary benefits of Wilckodontics in periodontal and orthodontic treatment. Methods: A literature-based review was conducted focusing on corticotomy-assisted orthodontic procedures, regional acceleratory phenomenon, clinical protocols, and treatment outcomes. Results: Wilckodontics facilitated accelerated tooth movement through cortical bone demineralization and enhanced bone remodeling. Benefits included reduced treatment time, improved periodontal architecture, and decreased risk of root resorption. Proper case selection and surgical precision were critical for success. Conclusions: Wilckodontics offers an effective interdisciplinary approach for managing complex orthodontic-periodontal cases, improving treatment efficiency and periodontal stability.
