Free sampling is widely used as a promotional strategy to introduce products and create awareness among consumers. This study examines the impact of free sampling on brand awareness of skin care products with special reference to Tirupur city. The research aims to understand how free samples influence consumer awareness, product trial, and future purchase decisions. Primary data were collected using a structured questionnaire from respondents. The data were analysed using statistical tools such as percentage analysis, weighted average method. The results show that free sampling helps consumers experience the product, improves trust in the brand, and increases the possibility of future purchase. The study concludes that free sampling is an effective promotional tool for enhancing brand awareness and attracting new customers in the skin care market.
