SiC f /SiC composites suit high-temperature uses like aircraft engines for their thermal stability and strength. Metal joining challenges arise from thermal expansion mismatch, inducing interface stress. We propose Joule thermal shock for low-stress bonding through rapid localized heating. TiC/C interlayer's graphite particles enhance strength via superior TiC-graphite adsorption. • Localized surface heating selectively targets the interface, effectively limiting thermal expansion of the base metal. • Carbon fiber reinforcement increases shear strength to 15.12 MPa, 1.39 times higher than traditional joints. • Interfacial TiC layer and graphite particles synergistically enhance hardness by hindering dislocation propagation. • Joule heating mitigates stress mismatch, reducing joint residual stress by 34.92% compared to vacuum brazing.
