Leadership tendencies are represented in almost all party systems and this factor shapes not only the internal party dynamics, but also its influence on the broader political or party system. This paper deals with the analysis of leadership and its influence on the party structure, as well as the mechanism by which it would be limited. The impact of the personalization of politics is discussed, where each individual is the central figure of political action, where voters vote for their candidate and where each candidate has legitimacy based on the result within his constituency. By reducing the electoral system in the form of personal voting, a political and representative connection between citizens-voters and candidates - elected representatives would be established. Personal voting would reduce the power of party leaders, as voters would determine who will occupy parliamentary seats, and this the party leader's dominance over personnel policy would be limited.
