Abstract

Placement of a negative-pressure drainage tube beneath the PEEK implant, combined with appropriate implant modification, may represent a feasible intraoperative strategy to improve epidural drainage and reduce postoperative epidural effusion. Larger prospective studies are required to validate these preliminary findings.
