This paper introduces Digital Entity Infrastructure (DEI): the deliberate construction of a machine-readable identity layer that makes a business entity recognizable to search engines, knowledge graphs, and AI systems. Drawing from a practitioner-researcher case study across three Indonesian PTs, the author documents how a Rp 1,500,000 one-time investment produced a 120% revenue increase for a micro-enterprise. The study proposes a five-layer DEI framework and examines why this infrastructure layer is absent from Indonesian MSME digital transformation programs.
