This pilot workshop on Research Integrity and Good Scientific Practice has been co-developed by OpenAIRE and Institut Pasteur within the framework of the PATTERN project. The workshop aims to introduce early-career researchers to key principles of responsible research and the practical expectations surrounding research integrity in contemporary research environments. The workshop follows an interactive and learner-centred approach, combining short expert presentations with participatory elements. The pedagogical design incorporates principles of:- Interactive learning, including discussion and questions,- Flipped classroom elements, encouraging participants to explore complementary resources before or after the session,- Digital engagement through OpenPlato, where participants can access supporting materials, participate in discussion forums, and complete short quizzes. The workshop introduces participants to real-life scenarios and encourages reflection on:- good research practices,- ethical challenges in research environments,- expectations from research supervisors and institutions.Participants also have access to additional materials hosted on OpenPlato (see 'Related works' section), including the PATTERN self-paced course on Research Integrity and Good Scientific Practice.
