This study aimed to assess the waste segregation practices in a selected barangay towards good governance, specifically in Barangay 174, Caloocan City. It examined the demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, sex, length of residency, and type of ownership, as well as their assessment of waste segregation practices in terms of proper household segregation, availability of facilities, efficiency of waste collection, and implementation and monitoring of barangay programs. The study also determined whether there is a significant relationship and difference between the respondents’ demographic profile and their assessment, and identified the challenges encountered in waste segregation.
