In the historical process, the transitional stages of tribal societies without state formation modern socities with nation state form refer a historical development. In addition this can be identified as a history of change. It is apparent that this change is based on traditional-modern dichotomy from Anthony Giddens’ sociological perspective. set of institutions which distinguishes traditional and modern enable the classification both society and state that society constitutes as a political institution. This set of is related to the organization of time-space and the source of power. The state which is the political institution of the modern era had complicated and transformations since ancient times till it took its current position in -state system. Giddens’ theory, relation between globalization which is stated as the expanding of across the world and nation state as a power container indicates a reflexive. Globalization which has economical, political and social aspects both the role of nation state in world system and the features of its social, and economic relations internationally and nationally. this study, relation between globalization and nation state in Giddens’ approach is as a transformational act.
