Abstract Inpatient hepatitis C viremia (HCV) treatment can link difficult-to-reach populations to care. HCV prevalence is highest among Veterans. We quantified inpatient admissions of Veterans with untreated HCV at the Atlanta VA and found that 37% were hospitalized at any time since HCV diagnosis. Additional linkage-to-care strategies will be needed to reach most Veterans in this population.
