Screwable metallic post involves engagement with the canal wall. This is associated with highly unfavorable conditions regarding both the dentine and the screw. Corrosion will occur mostly via the mechanical pathway and ultimately result in loss of the initial, deceiving grip of the screw within the tooth. In this paper, we want to shed light on the numerical model of the screwable metallic screw under vertical and horizontal loads.
