Purpose: Revision breast augmentation surgery presents unique challenges, including compromised soft tissue integrity, recurrent ptosis, and implant malposition. The GalaFLEX scaffold, a bioresorbable mesh derived from poly-4-hydroxybutyrate (P4HB), has emerged as a promising adjunct in these procedures. Findings: This article reviews our technique as well as clinical applications, benefits, and outcomes of GalaFLEX scaffold use in revision breast augmentation, focusing on its role in enhancing tissue support, reducing recurrent complications, and improving patient satisfaction. Patients in our study were followed for a mean of 243 days. The most common indication for revision breast augmentation was due to lateral displacement (54%). Conclusions: Our study shows a high rate of patient satisfaction (87.3%) among the 63 patients who underwent revision breast augmentation with GalaFLEX scaffold.
