Figur und Ethik des Procedural in Adolf Streckfuß’ ,,Der Sternkrug“

Abstract Der Aufsatz rekonstruiert die indizienbasierte polizeiliche Ermittlung als Verfahren, das im 19. Jahrhundert die Kontingenz sozialer Prozesse in die Grammatik des Rechts einschreibt, und verfolgt zugleich ihre Poetisierung im Police Procedural . An Adolf Streckfuß’ Der Sternkrug (1870) wird gezeigt, wie die Ermittlerfigur als prekärer Knotenpunkt zwischen Instinkt und Prozeduralität erscheint und wie literarische Formen die Arbeitsteilung der Ermittlung ästhetisch und ethisch reflektierbar machen.The contribution reconstructs nineteenth-century police investigation as a form of evidential procedure that inscribes the contingency of social processes into the grammar of law, and traces its poetization in the police procedural. Using Adolf Streckfuß’s Der Sternkrug (1870) as a case study, it shows how the investigator emerges as a precarious hinge between instinct and procedurality, and how literary forms render the division of investigative labor aesthetically and ethically legible.
