Abstract:The relationship between music and language has a long history. This study explores the effectiveness and practical feasibility of integrating English songs into English teaching. Through the melody, rhythm and lyrics of English songs, students can improve the accuracy of their pronunciation, enhance the memory of new vocabulary, and cultivate understanding and respect for different cultures in English learning. It is expected that English songs can be used as an interdisciplinary teaching method to promote students' in-depth understanding of English culture and improve their English learning ability.
