This study examines the role of commerce colleges in promoting student entrepreneurship in Satara District. Entrepreneurship education has emerged as a key instrument for fostering innovation and self-employment among young graduates. The research analyzes institutional initiatives such as skill development programs, incubation support, and industry interaction activities. Primary data were collected from students and faculty members of selected commerce colleges using a structured questionnaire. The study evaluates students’ awareness, motivation, and readiness towards entrepreneurial careers. It also identifies academic and infrastructural challenges faced by institutions in nurturing entrepreneurship. The findings highlight the importance of practical training and mentorship in shaping entrepreneurial intentions. The study concludes with suggestions to strengthen entrepreneurship-oriented practices in commerce education.
