The research aims to identify the effect of the pentagram strategy on the achievement of fifth-grade middle school female students in the Arabic language subject and to develop their coordination thinking. To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher developed two main null hypotheses, which are as follows:There is no statistically significant difference between the average grades of the female students in the experimental group who study using the pentagram strategy and those of the female students in the control group who study using the usual method for developing coordination thinking. The research sample was intentionally selected from the research community. It intentionally consisted of fifth-grade science students at Khadija al-Kubra Preparatory School for Girls in Mosul for the first semester of the academic year (2023-2024 AD). The sample consisted of 73 students, divided into two experimental and one control group. There were (37) students in the experimental group who studied according to the pentagram strategy and (36) students in the control group who studied traditionally. The researcher used the experimental method with equal groups and conducted the process of equivalence on the two research groups in some variables that included: (chronological age calculated in months, the grade of the Arabic language subject for the previous year, the general average of the female students for the previous academic year, the intelligence quotient, the academic achievement of the parents, the thinking test Tribal coordination). Two tools were required to achieve the research objectives: the first, an achievement test for female students; and the second, a coordinative thinking test. The two tests were characterized by validity and reliability .After preparing the teaching plans and the two tools, the experiment was implemented by the curriculum teacher in the school in the first semester of the academic year (2023-2024) on Sunday, corresponding to (10/15/2023 AD), and it continued for a full semester and ended on Tuesday, corresponding to (1/8/2024 AD). The post-coordination thinking test was applied on Thursday (1/4/2024 AD), and the achievement test was applied on Monday (1/8/2024 AD) to the two research groups.1- The use of the pentagram strategy in teaching the Arabic language subject contributed to raising the level of academic achievement of fifth-grade female students in the subject of Arabic syntax, as they are in a renewable stage in the learning process, especially if this relates to the subject of the Arabic language, its teaching methods, and the diversity of methods. It also significantly contributed to the development of their coordinated thinking.2-The directorates of education should direct male and female Arabic Language teachers to use the pentagram strategy as an alternative to traditional teaching methods that make students mere recipients of the information presented during the lesson, and to benefit from the results of the current research.3-The effect of the pentagram strategy on the achievement of fifth-grade middle school female students in the Arabic language subject and the development of their reflective thinking.
